Dewaxing FilterThe solvent oil Dewaxing/ deoiling filter, as the name implies, safely remove wax from lubricating oils at low operating temperatures. The filter is sealed and enclosed construction. It also features positive seal of the valve, screen support deck construction, rigid support construction of the tank and spring mounted PTFE scraper that maintains preset position and is not affected by variations in the temperature. Sunflower, Rice bran and Corn oil are to be Dew-axed/Winterized before consumption as they include high molecular weight wax, which makes the oil cloudy. The oils are de waxed or winterized for getting very clean first-rate oils, even in cold conditions. When the oil is saved at low temperatures, several solids of high melting triglycerides, positive gums and waxes are formed. The process of dewaxing involves oil cooling for crystallization, and filtration for removing waxes.
